An ensemble whose formation — three pianos and two percussionists — is unique in the world.

The members of the Ensemble Dimension also were inspired by this – with a rare line-up: three grand pianos and two percussionists. With symphonic energy and rhythmic precision, they reinterpret classical works and make dance music possible in all their complexity.
The ensemble was created from a spontaneous impulse, fed by years of collaboration on concert stages and in their studies. The musicians share a common history and a deep artistic understanding of each other – ideal conditions for the intensive interaction that this instrumentation requires.
In their work, they not only explore the field of tension between rhythmic force and tonal productivity, but also bring orchestral works into a new chamber music robe. It is not the effect that is at the center, but on the narrative moment: music as a moving form, as a dance between life and transience.
